On July 29 Microsoft launched its latest operating system, the much anticipated Windows 10. Let’s look at where we are 10 day’s into its launch.

Windows 10 Product Review

Install: Our first step is to sign up and download. Microsoft hit this out of the park by allowing its users to reserve their copy and notify them of their turn to install.

Interface: At first sight of Windows 10 we can see a combination of Windows 7 and 8/8.1 have been pleasantly mixed together to become a user friendly operating system. Keeping the consumer familiar with the functions will be a plus. Drastic changes are just not necessary. If it works don’t change it.

Navigating the Web: Microsoft Edge has replaced long time Internet explorer as the web browser. Microsoft Edge has a fast response, clean lines and easy navigation, defiantly the highlight of Windows 10.

Compatibility: We have begun to throw applications at Windows 10 to determine if Home & Business environments will function well in the new operating system and so far this has been meet with pleasant success. (Tested: Antiviruses, Social Media on the Web, Games, Accounting software, Banking, Email)
